Chai by Kai is a small Glasgow tea brand. Every pouch is weighed, blended and packed by hand and posted by Royal Mail, so good loose leaf tea reaches Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Stornoway or Lerwick the same way it reaches the West End.
Delivery across Scotland, one price
Letter sized orders are £1.95, parcels are £3.99, and delivery is free over £30. That is the same price for the Highlands and Islands as for Edinburgh, because Royal Mail does not charge us extra and we do not pass on a surcharge that does not exist.
Orders are packed within 2 to 3 business days. Most Scottish addresses see their tea 1 to 2 days after posting, a little longer for the islands.

If the nearest good tea shop is an hour's drive, the subscription does the driving for you. Pick your own teas, and a fresh box is posted every 4 weeks. The Explorer plan is one tea at 5% off, the Enthusiast is three teas at 10% off with free delivery, and the Connoisseur is five teas at 20% off with free delivery. Swap teas or cancel any time.
What we blend
Single origin black, green, oolong and white teas, caffeine free herbals, and our own small batch blends. Scottish Breakfast is the one most people start with, a bold Assam, Kenyan and Ceylon blend made for milk. Chocolate Mint, Earl Grey Finest with Flowers and Rooibos Kalahari are the ones people come back for.

No. Royal Mail delivers to every Scottish postcode at the same price, so you pay the same as anyone in Glasgow.
How long does delivery take in Scotland?
Orders are packed within 2 to 3 business days and posted by Royal Mail. Allow 1 to 2 days after posting on the mainland, a day or two more for the islands.
Is the tea actually blended in Scotland?
Yes. Every blend is mixed by hand in Glasgow and every pouch is weighed and packed there to order.
